Cee Jay Hernandez

Senior Facilitator

I have been a supervisor at Rosmini House since 2017. Initially, I applied for the role to make ends meet for myself and my daughter Evie. Now, though, I don’t think I could imagine myself anywhere else.

There is a unique privilege in being able to share in the lives of the amazing young people that pass through these doors. It can be challenging at times, playing ‘Mum’ to dozens of teenagers, but the rewards of being able to share in their victories, especially as they graduate and embark on big exciting lives, far outweighs any sense of work attached to this role.

I grew up in Gore and gathered my life experience travelling the country throughout my 20's, spending most of that time in Queenstown, where I developed some amazing relationships with people from all walks of life.

My daughter is currently at West Gore School and concentrating on dance, music, and drama. She has a million plans for what she wants to be when she grows up, and I’m excited to make that journey with her as she explores this more. My husband Steven is an import from San Antonio, Texas. We have plans to see much more of the world, including (but not limited to) Japan, Europe, and the Mediterranean, along with more trips to the States to visit family!
