Our Staff

I have been employed since 2010 doing a range of jobs in the 11 years I have been here. I am currently the Office Administrator.

I have been known to some of the past children as ‘Mummy Gail’, though I’m sure I’ve been called some other names as well!

I am married to Ray Shanks. We have 3 children. Olivia who is presently living in Nelson with her fiancée Cam, after spending many years travelling the world. Kendell (one of the twins) lives and works in Wellington. Brayden (the other twin) is now living in Blenheim and working as an electrician after doing his travelling.

We used to farm in Waikana on the family farm. When we sold that, we moved to Ferndale for a few years, before moving to Gore where we live now. We spend a lot of our time off in Wanaka and love to travel. You will often find me at netball on a Saturday as this is my passion away from work, and walking Harper our miniature schnauzer.
